Our physiotherapists help you understand why you’re experiencing pain, and how it can be managed.

They create individually designed programs that treat your specific needs. These programs can help prevent a condition or injury from developing, and help prevent re-injury or pain from developing into a chronic condition.

Chiropractic

Our chiropractor, Dr. Julia Marshall, specializes in the optimization of movement and performance. Our treatment approach emphasizes the biomechanical assessment of movement to discover the underlying cause of injury and dysfunction.

We work with athletes of all levels to address sports related injuries, optimize function, and help you train pain free.

Gait Analysis

We perform gait analysis to enhance your running technique and help you discover and prevent movement inefficiencies that can cause injury.

We encourage runners and those involved in high impact sports, like many of our members, to get routine biomechanical assessments and motion-analysis to prevent chronic straining or injury.

By assessing cadence, foot striking pattern, and joint mobility, we can recommend footwear, optimize performance, and develop strategies to prevent and avoid injury.

MOVEMENT ASSESSMENTS

The movement screenis used to assess an individual’s movement strategies, identify strength or flexibility limitations, and create a plan to manage pain, reduce the risk of injury, and optimize performance.

The screen is designed to help people with limitations in movements such as squats, deadlifts, and pull-ups, understand the mechanics behind certain movements and take a more active role in their performance.

We test, measure, teach, repeat.

During the initial movement screen, you will complete an extensive list of exercises to measure your strength, flexibility, and mobility.  You will leave with a report of findings document and an understanding of your imbalances, limitations and some general (stretching, strength, mobility) exercises to work on.

More thorough explanations will be provided in the “game plan” during the mandatory Immediate Movement Screen Follow-up.

Ongoing monthly movement screen check-ins are recommended for optimal results.

Discounts available for minimum 3-month commitment.
