One Academy® is seeking an experienced Chiropractor to join our wellness team in our new Etobicoke location. As a Chiropractor in our clinic, you will help athletes of all levels optimize physical performance, prevent and recover from injury, and make a positive impact on overall health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough chiropractic assessments, including evaluating musculoskeletal conditions, range of motion, and spinal health.
- Develop customized treatment plans based on assessment findings, utilizing chiropractic adjustments, manipulations, and other therapeutic modalities.
- Provide hands-on chiropractic treatments with a focus on sports-related injuries and performance optimization.
- Educate clients on proper posture, ergonomics, and lifestyle modifications to prevent injuries and enhance well-being.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, massage therapists, and personal trainers,, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in chiropractic care and sports medicine through continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited chiropractic program.
- Valid liability insurance.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably with a focus on sports medicine or athletic rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Passion for working with athletes and a commitment to helping your clients achieve their goals.
