One Academy® Etobicoke is seeking experienced and highly motivated Physiotherapists to join our multidisciplinary Wellness Lab. As a Physiotherapist in our clinic, you will play a key role in helping athletes and active individuals prevent injuries, rehabilitate, and optimize their physical performance through assessment, treatment, and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including evaluating their physical condition, movement patterns, and medical history.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings, utilizing a combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities.
- Provide hands-on physiotherapy treatments to clients with a focus on sports-related injuries and athletic performance enhancement.
- Educate clients on injury prevention strategies, proper movement mechanics, and exercises to improve strength and flexibility.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including chiropractors, massage therapists, and personal trainers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in physiotherapy and sports medicine through continuous learning and professional development.
Candidate Requirements:
- Physiotherapy degree from an accredited program.
- Valid license to practice Physiotherapy in Ontario.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably with a focus on sports medicine or athletic rehabilitation.
- Strong manual therapy skills and a comprehensive understanding of biomechanics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Passion for working with athletes and a commitment to helping them achieve their goals.
